Recently I've uploaded beta versions of Sonar 3, RMP 3, Hamtime 2, Trackaminute 2, yCopy 2, yLaunch 2, yMail 2 and yWriter 5
On the non-beta front, yGen 2 has now officially replaced yGen 1 and I recommend all users run yRead 3 instead of the original yRead 2 (Windows 98 users are stuck with yRead 1) RMP 3 is almost out of beta, and I recommend it to Vista users in particular because of the improved performance on that operating system.

Hi Simon,
I've installed RMP3. When I try to add new event, it keeps asking for a valid date. Please advice why is that so?

What's the date format on your PC? E.g. dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy or something else?
And have you entered a date for the event?
My PC short date format is dd/mmm/yy.
The default at the "Every X days" is dd/mm/yyyy. Could this be the problem?
After I meddled with the RMP3 setting, it's okay now.

I downloaded the RMP3 yesterday 28/1/09. The 'Expired event' is not working i.e. nothing is showing that has expired when you press the 'expired - all' button.
Everything else appears to be fine.

I'd like to say leave my greetings ;) I use yWriter for my novels and am a fan of your great work. At the moment, I'm on my thirn novel using your software, and it helped me ALOT on my way to the second draft (after which I used OpenOffice for the cleaning up of prose and editing).

Just started using yWriter 5. Nice product, but might I leave a few suggestions?
1) Have ability to alphabetize the Characters, Locations & Items. It's a little annoying scrolling the list without some kind of order.
2) Add a "Creatures" tab for Fantasy Writers. And a "Groups" tab for things such as organizations.
3) Have the right-click "Add New" popup open for all sections, not just the Characters one.
4) Add "delete" option when right-clicking on an item.
5) Under "Status" add additional Drafts to the drop-down, such as: First Draft, Second Draft, etc. Most people tend to have a few drafts before going to 1st Edition.
6) Have a FireFox-like spell check on every window that enters text.
Just a few user observations. Keep up the good work.

Since RM3 is still a Beta, I have a tiny suggestion. Perhaps making it run in the background like ytimer would be helpful. I already use ybook and ytimer. I love how they both help me out. Thank you for all your work!
